Starting in April, I will be attending Bible School in Schladming, Austria (part of Torchbearers International). The school will focus on studying the New Testament. In addition to daily lectures, we will have time for personal study, working around the campus, physical activities and sports, and outreach in the area. There will be around 90 students attending from around the world.

I will partly be in the capital city, Lusaka, where I grew up, and partly out in the rural areas and villages. I will be serving with a team of about 30 young adults, mostly from the U.S., to do outreach and evangelism, street kids and orphan care ministry, as well as youth projects at local community schools.

At the end of June, I will also join a group from the same school (Tauernhof) on a two-week mission trip to Serbia. We will be in Belgrade and Prokuplje, where we will be supporting a local church there with kids programs, as well doing outreach in some neighboring areas.

In, September I am planning on doing a Youth with a Mission Discipleship Training School. A DTS involves a 3-month training program followed by 3 months of outreach in a country overseas. I am looking into two locations – the Surfing Track at YWAM Maui in Hawaii, or the Wind & Waves Track at YWAM Rogaland in Norway. I will make a decision on this by May.
